Fiduciary Standard

As a Registered Investment Advisor, ACT Wealth Management, LLC abides by the “Fiduciary Standard.” The word “Fiduciary” comes originally from the Latin word “fides,” meaning faith, and “fiducia,” meaning trust. The Certified Financial Planning Board defines a fiduciary as, “One who acts in utmost good faith, in a manner he or she reasonably believes to be in the best interest of the client.”

Many investment professionals only have to abide by “Regulation Best Interest”, which is vastly different from the “Fiduciary Standard.” It is essential to understand the distinction between both of these standards as illustrated in this article published by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission: “What’s in a Name? Regulation Best Interest v. Fiduciary.”

Knowing that your financial advisor at ACT Wealth Management, LLC serves as a fiduciary on your behalf provides an added level of trust that investors deserve and should demand.
